EXCHANGE,
Inspiring communities to become better places to live
Indiana District Exchange Clubs
was officially chartered in 1924 when it first began serving the Indiana area. As a proud member of the National Exchange Club (NEC)—America’s oldest service organization founded in 1911 in Detroit, Michigan—our club is part of a nationwide network of volunteers committed to making our communities better places to live.
The NEC is a nonprofit, volunteer-driven organization with over 600 clubs and more than 15,000 members across the United States and Puerto Rico. Together, we uphold the core values of Family, Community, and Country, and work to promote Americanism, support youth, serve local needs, and prevent child abuse—our national project since 1979.

OUR VISION
A strong America, safe communities, and unified people.

Youth Awards

The Indiana District Exchange Club featured the recognition of our Youth of the Year (YOY) and Accepting the Challenge of Excellence (ACE) award winners—exceptional young individuals whose stories of perseverance and achievement moved and inspired all in attendance.
The ACE Award honors high school students who have overcome great physical, emotional, or social obstacles and are now on a path to success. These students may not have had the highest grades or the most accolades, but they’ve shown remarkable resilience, determination, and personal growth.
- Purpose: To recognize students who have turned their lives around and are now making positive choices.
- Impact: It celebrates perseverance and encourages continued success in education and life.

The Youth of the Year Award recognizes high school students who have demonstrated academic excellence and leadership in school and community activities.
- Purpose: To honor well-rounded students who exemplify strong character, leadership, and service.
- Impact: It highlights the importance of civic responsibility and encourages young leaders to continue making a difference.
Congratulations to all our Award winners from all of us at the Indiana District Exchange Clubs.

ONE IMMENSE DIFFERENCE
During the mid-1960s, Exchange embraced its national “Areas of Impact”, which heightened attention on the prevailing societal challenges of that era. This framework allowed local clubs to tailor their initiatives to the unique needs of their respective communities.
